Niku Murer

Her practice focuses on acquisition finance, corporate finance and structured finance transactions, receivables and asset-backed transactions, restructuring and intra-group financing arrangements. She regularly advises on Swiss law aspects of syndicated lending, secured lending transactions, security packages and cross-border financing structures. In addition, Niku advises on all regulatory aspects of business operations on Swiss financial markets and supports clients in obtaining FINMA licenses, regulatory approvals and regulatory filings as well as fulfilling ongoing notification and reporting obligations.

Her clients include international and domestic banks, asset managers, portfolio managers, trustees, commodities businesses, technology and industrial groups, private equity sponsors and multinational corporates across a broad range of regulated and non-regulated sectors in Switzerland and internationally.

Niku Murer graduated from the University of Zurich (Master of Law in 2016 and Bachelor of Law in 2015). After graduation, she gained work experience as a legal advisor at one of the big four accounting firms. Subsequently, she worked as a junior associate at a major Swiss business law firm in Zurich followed by an internship at the district court of Zurich and subsequent work as a law clerk. After her admission to the Swiss bar in 2020 and more than two years of professional experience at the district court of Zurich, she joined Pestalozzi as an associate in 2021.
