Speaking Engagement
At Pestalozzi, every member of our IBA delegation plays a vital role in representing our firm. In addition to their valuable contributions, the following members have specific roles within the IBA:
- Sarah Drukarch, WIPO Liaison, Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Committee: Co-Moderation of the roundtable "Green brands on thin ice: IP protection and the legal limits of sustainability claims." The discussion will explore the growing tension between sustainability-driven branding strategies and the legal boundaries imposed by trademark, unfair competition, and advertising law. It will examine how "green" product names, labels, and brand narratives are assessed under different legal frameworks, including evidentiary requirements and enforcement risks. The roundtable will also consider how companies can align their intellectual property strategies with ESG objectives while mitigating the risk of greenwashing allegations and protecting long-term brand value.
