Pestalozzi advised Ricola in the acquisition of a production plant in Lenzburg, Switzerland
The Ricola Group is continuing to invest in Switzerland as a production location and is taking over from Hero a production plant in Lenzburg. The acquisition will enable Ricola to further expand production and meet the high global demand for its products. Ricola is taking over part of the existing production infrastructure as well as offices and a staff restaurant. Ricola is growing dynamically and has for example achieved market leadership in the cough drop category in the USA. Europe and Asia are also strong markets for Ricola, with double-digit growth rates in Asia. Ricola produces all its products, which are exported to 50 countries worldwide, in Switzerland.
Pestalozzi advised Ricola on all legal and tax aspects of the acquisition.
