Pestalozzi advised Pactiv Evergreen Inc., a NASDAQ listed company and global leader in the packaging and filling industry, in the completion of the sale of its carton packaging and filling machinery businesses in China, Korea and Taiwan to SIX listed SIG Combibloc Group Ltd for an enterprise value of approximately USD 335 million. The Closing of the Swiss law governed transaction occurred in August 2022 upon the satisfaction of regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.
Pestalozzi advised Evergreen Packaging with respect to all aspects of Swiss law of this Swiss law governed transaction and acted as lead counsel instructing and coordinating the local counsels of the jurisdictions involved (CPR, Korea and Taiwan).
