Pestalozzi advises OC Oerlikon Corporation AG in the CHF 1962 million public takeover unsolicited bid for Saurer AG
OC Oerlikon Corporation AG, Pfäffikon, made a public bid to take over all public shares of Saurer AG in October 2006. At the end of the bid, in January 2007, OC Oerlikon held 99.45% shares in Saurer. The purchase price amounted to CHF 135 per share and CHF 1962 million in total. Pestalozzi acted as counsel to OC Oerlikon.
