Pestalozzi advises Bank Vontobel on its successful completion of the US program for Swiss banks without Vontobel having to pay a financial penalty
Bank Vontobel AG decided in December 2013 vis–à-vis the US Department of Justice to qualify itself as one of the financial institutions that have not committed any offenses under applicable US tax law. Its discussions with the US Department of Justice have been concluded without Vontobel having to pay a financial penalty. Pestalozzi advised Vontobel in this matter. In particular, Pestalozzi led and conducted independent investigations.
