Jean Philippe Fahrni is an associate in Pestalozzi’s Corporate/M&A Group in Zurich. His practice focuses on corporate, commercial, and general contract law, with particular emphasis on M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions. He also handles corporate restructurings, reorganizations, and joint ventures. Jean Philippe advises both Swiss and international clients on all aspects of domestic and cross‑border corporate transactions.
Before joining Pestalozzi, Jean Philippe Fahrni worked as a Research Assistant and PhD student (Dr. iur.) at the University of Bern (Institute of Economic Law), where he completed his doctorate in 2025. He was admitted to the Swiss bar in 2023. Prior to his academic career, he worked as a Junior Associate at a Swiss law firm in Bern starting in 2021. In 2020, he served as a court clerk at the District Court Bern-Mittelland and obtained his Master of Law from the University of Bern, where he had previously completed his Bachelor of Law in 2018.
