Pestalozzi advises Martec Handels AG on the acquisition of Renuwell business
On September 14, 2023, it has been announced that Martec Handels AG acquired the Swiss traditional brand Renuwell. Martec is a Swiss company specializing in the development, distribution and marketing of non-food consumer goods in the specialty and retail trade. To expand its product portfolio, Martec has acquired the Renuwell business from its previous owners. The Renuwell business comprises the development, production and distribution of wood cleaning and care products and was a family-owned and run enterprise for almost 50 years. Martec will ensure the continued existence of Renuwell and drive forward the further development of the brand and the product range. The acquisition of Renuwell will open up new sales markets for Martec in Germany, Austria, France and other European countries.
