Pestalozzi advises Glencore on its USD 6.2 billion acquisition of Viterra
Pestalozzi advised Glencore on Swiss law aspects of its acquisition of Viterra, Canada's largest grain handler. The deal value is CAD 6.1 billion (USD 6.2 billion). Glencore also entered into agreements with Agrium Inc. and Richardson International Ltd. for the sale of certain assets of Viterra. Pestalozzi advised on Swiss corporate, tax and competition law issues of the acquisition.
