Pestalozzi advises Glencore Xstrata on its above USD 17 billion refinancing
Several Glencore Xstrata entities, including the Swiss based Glencore International AG, borrowed above USD 17 billion to refinance outstanding amounts under financing facilities. The facilities are guaranteed by Glencore Xstrata plc, Glencore International AG and Xstrata (Schweiz) AG. Pestalozzi advised on Swiss law aspects of the refinancing and the related guarantees.
