Pestalozzi advises Johnson & Johnson on the USD 16.6 billion purchase of Pfizer's Consumer Healthcare
Johnson & Johnson, the world's most comprehensive and broadly based manufacturer of health care products, acquired Pfizer Consumer Healthcare for USD 16.6 billion in cash. Pfizer Consumer Healthcare's global business of personal care and over-the-counter (OTC) products achieved sales of USD 3.9 billion in 2005. The combined portfolio of OTC brands will solidify the global market-leading position of Johnson & Johnson's OTC franchise. Pestalozzi acted as counsel to Johnson & Johnson.
