Andreas Lienhard is an associate and member of Pestalozzi's Litigation & Arbitration Group as well as of the Employment & Pensions Group in Zurich.
Andreas Lienhard's main practice areas are domestic and international arbitration and commerical litigation with a focus on employment disputes. Andreas Lienhard studied in Zurich (lic. iur., 2008; Dr. iur., 2012, with a published doctoral thesis on litigation law) and London (The London School of Economics and Political Science, LSE, LL.M. International Business Law, 2015, distinction). He also completed the CAS in Arbitration jointly offered by the University of Lucerne and the University of Neuchâtel in cooperation with the Swiss Arbitration Academy AG (2017, excellent). He began his professional career as a law clerk at the district court of Dietikon, Canton of Zurich (from 2008 to 2010). After his admission to the bar in 2011, he worked as a research and teaching assistant to Prof. Dr. Ulrich Haas at the University of Zurich in the field of domestic and international litigation and arbitration (from 2011 to 2012). He then worked as an associate in the emloyment law team of a leading Swiss law firm (from 2012 to 2014). Andreas Lienhard joined Pestalozzi after finishing his LL.M. studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science, LSE, in 2015.
