Christophe Berclaz

In addition, Christophe Berclaz has extensive experience in private banking, internal investigations, civil liability, enforcement of foreign judgments and employment law.

After earning his law degree from the University of Geneva, he was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2005. He later obtained a Master of Science in Shipping, Trade & Finance from Bayes Business School (formerly Sir John Cass Business School) in London in 2007. He began his career as an associate in both the litigation and corporate departments of a leading Swiss business law firm, where he worked for four years before joining the legal department of the Swiss subsidiary of an English private bank. He became an associate at Pestalozzi in June 2013.

Christophe Berclaz is actively engaged in several professional associations, including the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA). He currently serves on the Law & Digital Innovation Commission of the Geneva International Legal Association (GILA).

In the past, he was a member of the Committee of Geneva Young Bar (2014–2018), the Financial & Tax Committee of the Geneva Bar Association (2014–2025), and the Committee of the Geneva Bar Personality Protection Scheme (2020–2024), where he supported members facing workplace conflicts, inappropriate conduct, or sexual harassment in their professional environment.
