Sheila Venegas attends to corporate matters such as the incorporation and administration of business entities and other matters concerning the public commercial register. She also supports trademark filings and trademark portfolio administration. Sheila obtained her law degree and attorney qualification in Peru, followed by an LL.M. from the Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg and a CAS as Compliance Officer. Before moving into risk management and compliance, she worked in two law firms in Zurich
Sheila has significant expertise in contract review, independence assessments, KYC and AML matters, operational risk management advisory services, policy development and stakeholder management. Her experience also encompasses legal research, the drafting and review of legal documentation, and the implementation of internal controls. Her multilingual communication skills enable her to work effectively in international and cross-border environments. She has a particular interest in corporate governance and contractual matters.
