Hannes is an associate with Pestalozzi and a member of the Corporate / M&A Group in Zurich. His main areas of practice are corporate and commercial law with a particular focus on corporate governance, domestic and international M&A as well as insurance (supervisory) law.

During his term with Pestalozzi, Hannes was seconded to an international corporate insurance company where he acted as Interim General Counsel for Switzerland. In that role, he advised on all aspects of corporate, commercial, insurance (supervisory) and employment law.

Hannes graduated from the University of Zurich in 2015. During his studies, he spent several months at the University of Oslo in Norway, where he primarily focused on petroleum law. After graduation, he worked as a law clerk at the District Court of Horgen. Subsequently to his admission to the Swiss bar, Hannes joined Pestalozzi in 2019.
